Apologies for the delay in this summary it was prepared but for some reason... it didn't get posted.
On this weeks program we looked at the reference site www.medicinenet.com especially the interactive "Whats wrong with me" bodies! John Mac gets us up to date as usual with this weeks local news headlines and David Young talks about the 12 days of Christmas as well as the story of Rudolf and Boxing Day, that strange English tradition. John McKendrick's letter from London takes a look at the Corporate Christmas party! Remember next Sunday is the PBC Christmas party don't miss it!

RADIO METROPOLIS AND THE PANAMA BROADCASTING CORPORATION INCREASE ENGLISH PROGRAMING HOURS.

With effect from the 1st of January 2007 Radio Metropolis 93.5 FM and the Panama Broadcasting Corporation S.A. will broadcast on Monday and Friday from 6pm until 7pm and as usual on Sunday from 7pm until 9pm. The new programing will encompass the local news headlines, information and top of the line entertainment. On Monday's DJ John Wolff will be introducing "Car-toons" a classic rock progam to get you home and on Friday's James Sebastian with "The weekend starts here" an up to the minute pop program, as well as where to be and what to be doing at the weekends.

In our Christmas lead up with David Young, this week he tells us all about Christmas Carols, we also go along to the Christmas party for the Children in the program of the "Shrine" in Panama. Head of the childrens committee Melvin Nickel tells us all about their work. With the arrival of Summer it is also the time for colds and we touch on that in our Health Segment this week (familydoctor.org a good source for info). And our man in London John McKendrick talks about the Litvinenko poisoning saga.

Sunday Night at the Metropolis 3rd December 2006

Christmas Eve is only three weeks away! Although it is too late to start those traditional Plum Puddings and Christmas Cakes, David Young is back to tell us all about their origins and the time to start preparing them.
In our health segment this week we touch on something that had affected me for years Migraine and some of the myths that have been associated with their triggers, we mention both WebMD and Health and Age web sites to check out more information.
The Theatre Guild of Ancon is having a Christmas show "Live from radio X.M.A.S" we go along to a line rehearsal and talk to Theresa Apple the author of the show, tune in to find out the times and how to get tickets.
And not forgetting our man in London John McKendrick who this week tackles the problems of cheap air travel out of London's Gatwick airport and attends a Labor Party Conference held in Oban Scotland.
