Sunday Night at the Metropolis 11th February 2007

Back in the sixties there was a government scandal that involved two people that were born in February, find out which two in the "Profumo affair" had Feb birthdays by listening to David Young's two part piece in this weeks show. John McKendrick is up in Scotland taking exams so no letter from London but we do have a three minute history of the City of London. John Mac passes on this weeks Panama news as usual, including the $700 million contract awarded to a British company to develop the area of the old Howard air base.
Keep in touch, want to say hello to someone in Panama or just say "hi" metro@on-the-radio-com or you can call us (507) 6726 1338.

Sunday Night at the Metropolis 4th Feb 07

We had a small biography on the legendary Sir Stanley Mathews who was born in February, played his last match in February and also died in February. Linking with this topic we have a couple of football orientated tracks including a mix of "You'll never walk alone" by Gerry and the Pacemakers and the KOP Choir!. Many thanks to David Young for presenting this piece.
A brief appearance from James Sebastian who presents the Friday program "Your weekend starts here" bringing in one of his tracks to play.
Look out in the coming weeks for new interviews, watch this space.
