Sunday Night at the Metropolis 28th Jan 07

Sorry the update is a couple of days late this week... David Young did a special segment on a crimainal case in England which was partly responsible for the abolishing of hanging in the UK. A topical subject due to the recent macabre events in Iraq, this particular tale was about Derek Bentley who was hanged for the killing of a policeman, though it was his partner in crime who (which is also subject to doubt) pulled the trigger, his partner who was 16 was a minor and served 10 years.
We touch on the airlines again, this time with regard to bad service being rewarded by rising share values... strange world! Keep listening. Remember drop us a line metro@on-the-radio-com or give us a call on (507) 6726 1338.

Sunday Night at the Metropolis 14th January 07.

What started as a quip in last weeks program regarding airline service, spawned a number of stories of bad treatment and unadulterated over pricing, which we mention in this weeks program. Let us have your air travel experiences and not necessarily just the bad ones... have you had service which has exceeded expectations?
Alex Neuman is our guest this week, and will be a regular contributor to the program, Alex is an expert in computer matters and this week we touch on the anticipated launch of Windows Vista, its compatibility with previous versions of Office and we talk about the increasingly space greedy anti-virus software programs. Any questions for Alex? See our contact details below or if you want to contact him directly call his office (507) 214-9002.
Next week all being well John McKendrick will be back with his "Letter from London" he has been taking a break for exams and catching up on his work for the new year.
Remember if you are in Panama listen to John Wolff on Monday evenings from 6 till 7pm with his classic rock program and at the same time on Friday to James Sebastian for "The weekend starts here".
