Sunday Night at the Metropolis 5th November 2006.

This is the month where Panama celebrates its origins with Parades, buildings proudly flying the National Flag and adorned with Red White and Blue. This last weekend being the "Main Event" celebrating Independence from Colombia in 1903, there were Parades on Friday and Saturday with school bands as well as bands from national units such as the Nautical school and the Fire department. Also a lot of people leave the city to enjoy the beaches and the countryside. So we took the tranquility of the city as an excuse to slow the program down a bit. Our interview with a doctor on the subject of Medical Tourism has been put back by request a week or so due to the holidays, but we still touch on the subject from the incoming patients perspective. Check out more details at www.pana-health.com. This week we introduce a "Letter from London" a small snippet in the life of the City and England in general as perceived by our man on the spot John McKendrick.
As usual the local news headlines and in the second half we chat with David Young, broadcaster, author and general font of knowledge, from the 26th of November on our lead up to Christmas David will be giving us morsels of trivia to get us ready for the festive season. And remember Christmas is about giving, we want to know about your charitable events especially if they are involving Children. LET US KNOW...... METRO@ON-THE-RADIO.COM

Thank you very much for listening and contacting us. At the time we were investigating the Panama tourism issue we did in fact check (as part of our search) planethospital.com. However on checking countries covered it was showing Panama as "coming soon" and as our interest was from the aspect of Panama alone it was not pursued. Information that you may have relevant to any operations (excuse the pun) that you may be undertaking in Panama we would of course be happy to hear them and consider including this in future coverage of this issue, which has attracted a lot of interest.
